Government
The government of Aris is broken down into three parts: king, elders, and male citizens.
King
The king's job is fairly simple. He is the leader of the military and is the overall image of Aris. Kings come from a long line of family relating back to Aristotle. They also have the job of appointing their elders. Kings also handle personal foreign affairs with other city states and nations and the king is used as the head representative of Aris.
Elders
Elders are older male citizens appointed by the kind. Their job is to review laws made by citizens and decide whether or not to pass them. These men are old male citizens who are highly respected and well known.
Citizens
The 'citizens' of Aris consist of male citizens. This group of men compose laws and regulations that benefit Aris. They vote on these laws and regulations and this form of government is called a direct democracy.
